Maintaining Core Values During COVID-19

While the start of 2020 may not be exactly what we all expected it to be, there are still some important lessons to learn from all of this mayhem. For our team, we have our MSRET (Mark Seiden Real Estate Team) Core Values that we make sure to abide by in every transaction and also in our daily lives. In a way to fuse the two together (and to add a little fun) our values literally spell our MSRET CORE! Cool right? Our values are outlined below:

Each core value holds an important piece of wisdom during the situation we’re facing right now. Most importantly, it’s important to be compassionate and innovative during these times. 

Compassion is crucial when times are like this and as Realtors® it is more important than ever before to show compassion to our consumers. We’re not just here for them as a real estate resource, but we are also here as one human being to the next. Everyone is going through this together and it’s important that you know you are not alone in these trying times! 

As for Innovation, the real estate market has obviously changed in regards to how business can be conducted. While important negotiations and steps in the buying and selling process cannot happen in person at the moment, there are ways around this that we’ve been utilizing! Whether it be Zoom calls with clients, virtual open houses, or virtual team meetings, almost everything has the capability to be done online. It’s just a matter of whether or not a Realtor® is willing to be innovative. The Mark Seiden Real Estate Team is ready and willing to do what it takes to adapt to these changes and even implement some of them into our daily routines. While this is not the best situation to be in, we are always willing to learn and grow and it’s important to remember that this isn’t permanent!
